Republicans Believe Marjorie Taylor Greene 'Has Matured' And Forgive Her Past Screwups

It took fewer than 3 weeks for Republicans in Congress to do an about-face regarding Marjorie Taylor Greene, and they are now willing to accept her as one of her own, despite her extremist views - which they say are all in the past now. One of the Republicans who says that Greene is a new person is Republican Congressman Michael McCaul, who said that Greene "has matured" and apparently is now willing to learn about new things. Apparently Marjorie Taylor Green's attempts to paint herself now as a moderate instead of a MAGA extremist. Apparently it's worked. All it took was what, like two and a half weeks of rehabbing her image. And now you have Republicans from that moderate wing of the party telling us on national media. She's a changed person. Oh, she's grown up. She's matured. They're trying to tell us. Recently, during ABC's this week host Martha Ratts asked Republican Congressman Michael McCall from Texas about Marjorie Taylor Green. Um, Ratts said, said quote, she doubted nine 11. She doubted a plane, hit the Pentagon. She later apologized for that. But she said that in 2018, should she be on that committee? You are on that committee talking of course, about Marjorie Taylor Green on the Homeland Security Committee. So Mr. McCall, Congressman McCall, excuse me, responded and said, you know, these conspiracy theories that people go down, I disagree with this. I'm having to debunk this. This one was the worst violation. Nine 11 was not a hoax. It was carried out by Al-Qaeda. There's no question in my mind. So Ratts had to push him, like, should she be on the committee? To which McCaul replied, well, you know, look, I mean, this is 2018 when she said this, I will tell you she has matured. I, I think she is, she, she realizes she doesn't know everything and she wants to learn and become, I, I think more of a team player.

Once again, nothing matters. Like if you believe for a second that Marjorie Taylor Green is a different person than the woman who spread the conspiracy about Jewish space lasers, or the woman who spread conspiracies about nine 11, or the woman who went out there to AOCs office back before she ran for Congress and was peeking through a mail hole screaming at her. If you think she is a different person, then you are not competent enough to serve in Congress. She has pulled the wool over your eyes and you're a gush darn moron. To put it mildly. Obviously that's not what I wanted to say, but I'm doing better to try to, you know, tamper it down a bit. Marjorie Taylor Greene is not a moderate, she has not learned her lesson. She's sure not matured. She is 48 years old today. So if we look at 2018, okay, five years ago she, she, she was still 43, you know, probably, you know, good middle age right there, and you're, well now she's ma mature.

Now that she's almost 50, she's maturing that, that that's not a vote of confidence. That's basically saying like, oh, well yeah, maybe she finally grew up. No, if you haven't grown up by the time you're in your mid forties, pretty sure that ship has sailed at that point, right? But this is what she did. She convinced him, him, she was a moderate by supporting Kevin McCarthy and by God they ate at hook, line and sinker and whatever horrible misfortunes, the Republicans part of Republican party suffers from accepting her as a moderate. That's on y'all. And I can't tell you how much I hope the discomfort hurts you in the future because everybody looking at this objectively knows that she is absolutely trying to pull one over on you. But y'all are too stupid to realize it.
