Trump Hit With Onslaught Of Attacks From Potential Presidential Rivals

Donald Trump is being hit from all sides by a gang of potential presidential rivals for the Republican nomination, including New Hampshire governor Chris Sununu and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie. Both men have attacked Trump in the past week as "unelectable" saying that he has no chance of defeating President Biden in 2024. Donald Trump is starting to take a lot of heat from individuals who might end up being his, uh, opponents in a Republican presidential primary. Of course, over this past weekend, we had Chris Christie on ABC News, say, Donald Trump can't beat Biden. That led to several days of the two of them going back and forth, Christie on Twitter, Trump on truth social. But on on that same episode, you had current New Hampshire governor, Chris Sununu, Republican, whose name has been floated for a long time as a potential 2024 candidate. He came out and he really laid into Trump just as viciously, I guess you would call it, as Chris Christie did. Here's what Sununu had to say. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, November 22 showed us that Trump is going to be seen as a very extreme candidate. The country is going to push back against it.

Just look at the results of three months ago, and that shows you where extreme candidates are gonna end up falling. He could get the nomination, but he can't get it done in. What I've tried to espouse to every Republican is, look, we wanna vote for the most conservative candidate who can win in November of 2024 and get stuff done in 2025. So Sunu knew there is taking the same track as Christie, like, listen, this dude can win the nomination. We get that we're not taking that away. But he cannot beat Biden in a general election. It doesn't matter what those polls right now are showing because those polls are switching pretty much every seven to eight days. But at the end of the day, we saw what the public did in November of 2022. That's what Sun Nunu is trying to remind people. Trump is Carrie Lake.

Trump is Dr. Oz Trump is Herschel Walker. Trump is Blake Masters. Trump is Doug Mastri. Trump is Sarah Palin. Trump is all of these extreme cartoon character candidates and they all went down in flames. People with huge name recognition couldn't win. Again, Palin, Oz Walker, those were names that most people in this country knew and they still couldn't pull it off because they were too extreme. So name recognition, which of course Trump has more than anybody else on the planet at this point. It ain't gonna cut it. People know who you are, they know how extreme you are, and they rejected it in 2020. They rejected it in 2022 and they're gonna reject it in 2024. So that's where Sun Nunu thinks he can have the edge, right? DeSantis is another extreme character. I think Sun Nunu thinks, okay, DeSantis will flame out. He has no real policies to speak of other than culture war crap. So that's gonna come, you know, against him pretty hard. So Sunu New thinks he may have an avenue. We'll see. I don't think he does. You know? Yeah. You're the governor of a

State, which are the governor of a very small, very white state in the Northeast. That doesn't necessarily play well out there in middle America. So good luck San Nunu. I love your attacks against Donald Trump, but, uh, I don't think you have a snowballs chance in hell of even making it to the first primary.
