According to a massive new report from Rolling Stone, Donald Trump has actually considered running on a platform of bringing televised prisoner executions to the United States, should he make it back into the White House. This is a tactic that is nearly as old as humanity itself, and it plays to our primitive desires for revenge. A massive new report from Rolling Stone came out this week saying that Donald Trump has considered running for president in 2024 on the platform of not just bringing back medieval forms of execution for prisoners, but also of televising their executions, and perhaps not just one execution. There could be mass executions of prisoners on live TV here in the United States if Donald Trump chooses to go that route. Two sources close to Trump spoke to Rolling Stone about the issue, and what they said, first of all, is that he's considering bringing back what they call old time methods of executing prisoners, which includes firing squads, hangings, and possibly even guillotines.

He also wants it televised, as I said, because he believes it would make a quote, good deterrent to future criminals. They said, quote, the former president believes this would help put the fear of God into violent criminals. He wanted to do some of these things when he was in office, but for whatever reasons, didn't have the chance. Now, the worst part about this story, one, obviously he's still considering running on this platform. Two, and I hate to say this, but I'm gonna be honest, this would be insanely popular here in the United States. If you disagree with me, then you don't know history. We have seen leaders throughout history. I mean, typically, you know, in the ancient Rome, we've seen it in dictatorships. But when they are struggling to keep the population happy, to keep them compliant, they do public ex executions. Not only is it a way to remind them of the power that the state has, but it's also good old fashioned entertainment.

These are horrible people. We hate them. They killed people. They, they sexually assaulted them. We want justice. We want vengeance because it's ingrained in our d n a as human beings. We want to see bad people get what they deserve. That's why we go to action movies. That's why we go to all these comic book movies. We want to see the bad guys get taken down by the good guys. We have that in us as people. Some of us may have evolved a little bit beyond that. I'd like to think we have, but there are far too many people in this country. Think about this. Far too many people who have they knew at seven o'clock, six seven Eastern, um, there was gonna be a public execution on channel three. Tens of millions of people would tune into channel three just to see it.

Oh, I hate this guy, but, uh, you know what? I just, I just, I gotta see it. That's what it would be. It's the same people who slow down to look at a, a, a wreck on the interstate. You don't want it to happen to you. You kind of feel bad for the people, but part of you, that morbid curiosity, you just gotta see. Tell me I'm wrong. Tell me I'm wrong about that, folks. It's the same thing, and that's what Trump knows because he has that same mindset as dictators throughout history, because it's not just a deterrent for violent criminals. It is the reminder of the power that the state has. You do us wrong, we will kill you, and millions of people will watch it happen.
