Here's a user, uh, by the name of DV who asks, hi, Farin, love your Daily News reports. Well, thank you very much. Does it boggle your mind how much investigations there are on Baby Donald? And yet he's not indicted on any of them yet? Um, honestly, it really does. Like, any one of these scandals that Donald Trump is involved in would've typically taken the average person, you know, not a politician, not a billionaire, and put you behind bars. And there you stay. Yet for some reason, with Donald Trump, it always has to be dragged out. And part of that, of course, as his legal team, intentionally dragging these things out. But my God, you, you look at all of these things and you have to think to yourself at some point, like, something's gonna happen here, right? Like, we're, we're gonna get it one day and then never that day, never comes.

Now, look, we're looking at a very serious trial coming up for Donald Trump, uh, not a criminal trial, civil trial in April with the Eugene Carroll, uh, lawsuit for battery. That's gonna happen again in just two months. That's a big one. Very important. It may be able to prove that the former president of the United States sexually assaulted somebody in the 1990s, which I, I kind of think that's a very big deal. But other than that, I mean, we've got the lawsuit, the 250 million lawsuit from New York Attorney General, Leticia James. That case is still pending. It's gonna go to trial, uh, this year as well. So that's gonna be a big one. But again, it's just a civil trial. He's not going to jail for that. Um, the state of Georgia, we're still waiting on the actual criminal charges to be filed from that to know who's gonna be hit with them.

The DOJ right now, um, the DOJ is involved in eight different court battles for the Trump investigation that they're conducting. There's eight court battles, and those court battles include getting people to testify, getting, uh, uh, information to, you know, issue warrants, uh, subpoenas, all kinds of things. And Trump's people and his allies, his friends, the people that are being subpoenaed, they're all trying to fight it. So that's tying all that up. So that's part of the reason why the DOJ is so slow on this and why nothing has happened. But I would at least think like the document scandal, right? That's pretty cut and dry, like you're legally not allowed to have these documents. Your lawyers lied to the federal government and a sworn statement said you didn't have any. And then we found out you did. And we know you're legally not allowed to have 'em.

There's a very specific law that covers that, the Presidential Records Act. So I don't think you need a six month or 12 month investigation into that. You could have looked at it for 20 minutes and said, oh yeah, we're gonna file criminal charges. It, it truly is that easy. It's that easy. You don't need the special prosecutor being distracted by that small scandal when he's trying to work on things like the fake elector scheme, which is a big, you know, across the country, people involved in it. Scandal. That one does take a while. The document scandal. You could have had a first year law student look at that and say, oh, yeah, I can, I can craft charges as a potential prosecutor on this. That's easy. Why it hasn't happened. It does boggle my mind. So thank you very much for that question. This is Hattie.
