A question from Angela Lameer who says, hi Faren. First off, thanks for all the hard work you do and be safe. My question is, did you hear that Marjorie Taylor Green is not going to give up having the Republican party divorce the country and make it so that the red live all together in the blue live together and not have anything to do with each other? You know, it is funny. It's her idea's not funny. What's funny is the fact that she got just mocked even by Republicans, by her own friends like Matt Gates, for this idiotic idea of the national divorce. And rather than just like dropping it and saying like, okay, that talking point didn't land. I, I'm gonna move on. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna talk about it anymore. No, she doubled down. Then she tripled down quadrupled quintupled, like she is just like hell bent on going against the grain.
Even though everybody thinks her idea is very stupid that, I mean, that's Marjorie Taylor Green for you though. Like, oh, everybody hates it. Well then I'm gonna do it even more because that's how petty and ridiculous she is and it's the country in which we live. Now in terms of a national divorce, you know, seriously, Marjorie grow up like for real, the average people out here don't actually care about the rights culture, war issues. When you strip political identity from it, progressive policies are hugely popular, taxing the rich, getting corporate money out of politics, universal healthcare, universal debt-free college, taking action to protect the environment. All of those when stripped of a party I identification, are accepted and approved and supported by a majority of people in this country.
Deep down, believe it or not, I know I was just talking about how divided the country is, but when you strip away our party IDs and you just get down to what we actually think and believe we're we're most of us are in agreement. There isn't divisions. It's only when you slap labels on it and turn it into team sports that it becomes a problem. Look at it this way, you got two friends, they both love watching football. They both love to go out back and play football. They're just football guys. They know everything about it. They love football, but you put a New York Giants hat on one of 'em and a Dallas Cowboy hat on the other and they become bitter enemies even though they love the same thing. That's what American politics today has become. We actually all want the same things when you look at the polls, but then we put on our Republican or our Democrat hat and we're told we have to hate that other person. It's ridiculous. Hey,
