6:27Now PlayingFootage obtained by Media Matters for America shows Tucker Carlson absolutely trashing his networks own online platform - News Nation - saying that nobody watches it and the website is a complete dumpster fire. The footage isn't necessarily as damning as it is funny, as Carlson was clearly tired of making content for a platform that no one cared about. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Yesterday, the good folks over at Media Matters, released footage that had been leaked to them of a conversation that Tucker Carlson was having with, uh, what we assumed to be a producer, talking about an interview he was gonna conduct and how angry he was that it was going to have to air on Fox Nation, you know, the Fox News Network streaming platform website, rather than putting it on the main show or even just putting it on YouTube. Tucker Carlson in the clip I'm about to show you repeatedly trashed his own network's platform and on multiple ti uh, occasions there says that nobody's watching it. So here is Tucker Carlson trashing his own network for having a website that doesn't work and that nobody goes to. Anyway, here he is.
I I don't want to be a slave to Fox Nation, which I don't think that many people watch Anyway. Um, we're gonna, uh, because I I, I, you know, I'm like a representative of the American media now, right? Speaking to an exile in Romania and welcoming him back into the brotherhood of journalists.
Yeah, it would help us out if you wore a sweater though, because we asked him not to wear a suit like he was panicking about it. So you don't have to Tuck's gonna be looking, uh, casual. That's just how our show looks. Is that okay?
I I, I mean this is airing on the nighttime show and I wanted to look official. I don't want it to be like bro talk and I, and I, you know what I mean?
Yeah. But the majority of it, like if we go like 45 minutes, it's gonna be for Fox
Nation, but nobody's gonna watch it on Fox Nation. Nobody watches Fox Nation because the site sucks. So I'd really like to just put the dump the whole thing on YouTube. Um, but anyway, that's just my view. Um, uh, I'm just frustrated with, uh, in it's hard to use that site. I don't know why they're not fixing it. It's driving me insane. And they're like making like lifetime movies, but they don't, they don't work on the infrastructure of the site. Like what? It's crazy. And it drives me crazy cuz it's like we're doing all this extra work and no one can find it. It's unbelievable. Actually. I don't know who runs that site, but we're
Gonna play a sizeable trunk on the show tomorrow night. That's the plan. And then what it's gonna do is drive a lot of people to watch this on Fox Nation. It's gonna be a great help to what we're doing over there on season today.
I know, but I, we we're doing our part, we're like working like animals to produce all this content and the people in charge of it, whoever that guy's, whatever his name is, like they're ignoring the fact that the site doesn't work and it, it's, I think it's like a betrayal of our efforts. That's how I feel. So I, of course I resent it
For the record. Tucker Carlson is like, do I wear tie? Am I, where am I gonna wear? Am I gonna go a suit? He ended up wearing a sweater for the interview, so, you know, he did go a little more cash, just had the sweater on, keeping it cool for Fox Nation. Now the guest he's talking about was Andrew Tate, and this was from August of 2022. And then in December of 2022, right after he had tried to mock Greta Thunberg on, uh, Twitter, Tate was arrested. Uh, here it is, he's being investigated on allegations of rape people trafficking and forming an organized crime group. Um, so he is, he is being held on house arrests and he's still facing those investigations and those potential charges. He has not been put on trial or convicted, but that is the man that Tucker Carlson
