3:49Now PlayingDonald Trump's advisers have confirmed to reporters that the former President will NOT be going easy on Judge Tanya Chutkan (or any other judge overseeing his many trials.) This means that Trump is aware of the fact that Judge Chutkan laid out a trap for him and he intends to walk head-first right into it without a second thought. No good will come from the attacks, but they could likely cost Trump everything, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Donald Trump's own advisors speaking on the condition of anonymity to c n n have admitted that the former president is going to just continue to off, uh, judge Tatkin as well as all of the other judges and prosecutors going after him. And they don't care. He doesn't care about the consequences. One of Trump's advisors confirmed to c n n that he is not going to shut up, even though the judge basically told him last week, you better shut the hell up, or else I'm gonna have no choice but to move the trial earlier, or perhaps even revoke your pre-release, uh, uh, situation here and Trump's own advisor say, yeah, he's not gonna listen to any of that. And he's gonna say what he wants to say. Here's what the advisor told c n n. He'll share what he feels is necessary, and if she has a problem with it, she'll address it.
I mean, that's basically Donald Trump via his advisors going up to the judge, giving her a giant middle finger and saying like, yeah, I'm gonna keep saying this stuff. What are you gonna do? You had your chance this past Friday to, to do something about it. Instead, you cited mostly with my team here, so I get to keep running my mouth. And there's nothing you can do, except as I mentioned there is something, because the judge explicitly said, if these kinds of statements continue, if he's out there intimidating witnesses or possibly tainting the potential jury pool, then uh, I'm gonna have to move the jury trial up in the calendar, and we're gonna have to get it over with pretty quickly so that he doesn't have time to intimidate and taint everything out there. Basically, the judge told him, here, I'm putting a trap for you right here.
So you would probably be best served by not stepping into this trap right here. And Trump's advisors are out there telling c n n Oh yeah, he is just gonna walk headfirst in the trap. He sees it and he's just, he's gonna jump on it, stomp on it, and say, I'm in the trap. What are you gonna do? Um, so that's the situation we're at right now. It's funny because his lawyers also talking about the trap issue. They said that he is not going to fall into quote a contempt trap. That's why they said, so they know, the lawyers know that there's a trap, and I, I shouldn't call it a trap in a bad way. It's basically the judge saying like, look, don't fall into the hole. Okay? There's a hole right there. I'm warning you about the hole. I don't want you in the hole. Don't fall in the hole. I think that's a better analogy. And trump's like, I'm going in the hole. I'm doing it, man. Like I'm going straight headfirst right into it, and you can't stop me. And the judge is like, well, I guess we all know what that means, and it is what it is. Trump cannot be silenced,
I mean, a lot of us would like to see that, would love to see this guy just shut the hell up, but he can't do it. I mean, I feel like at this point he's almost physically impossible of shutting his own mouth and he's gonna keep running his mouth and it's going to come back to bite him at the end. So my only hope right now is I hope he keeps talking. I hope he keeps off the judge because there is no universe out there where that works out in his favor.
