According to Cassidy Hutchinson's new book titled Enough During the Capitol Riot, as Donald Trump was watching the events unfold on TV and doing absolutely nothing to stop it, he actually joined in with the chance of his deranged supporters who were of course calling to hang Mike Pence. Let me read you this from the excerpts of her book, mark sees me talking about Mark Meadows and I point at the phone screen where Jim, Jim Jordan, caller ID is visible. He comes over to take the phone, propping the door open with his body. As he talks to Jim, I take a few steps back as Mark takes my place in the doorway and I strain to listen to both conversations. The TV and the Oval Dining Room is blaring. The president is yelling. What is he saying? I can't make it out. I hear him say, hang repeatedly, hang, hang.

What's that about? Mark Hands, his phone back to me. The cue for me to return to my desk later on. I'm struggling to process what's happening as Mark Whitehouse lawyers, pat Sippel, pat Philbin and Eric Hirschman stumble back into the office. I overhear their conversation and suddenly everything makes sense. They're calling for the vice president to be hanged. The president is okay with it. He doesn't want to do anything. He doesn't think they're doing anything wrong. He thinks Mike is a traitor. Mark has responded something to the effect of, quote, you heard him, pat, he thinks Mike deserves it. He doesn't think they're doing anything wrong.

So Donald Trump, it's now the second time we have heard reports that he was okay with the chance of hang Mike Pence. And Pence, of course, to his credit, has still said that if Donald Trump is the dominee, he'll vote for him because this is the kind of party we're dealing with. These individuals are willing to put their party over their own safety, over their own wellbeing. And Donald Trump is of course the kind of person that will immediately turn on you, uh, to the point of, according to this wishing death upon you. If you don't do his bidding every single time, 100% of the time, there is not any room for dissent in Trump's orbit. You him off, you're done forever. He will hope that you die, is the moral of this story. And this is the guy that we are to believe according to that Washington Post a b, c news poll, I is 10 points ahead of Biden. If that is the case, if that poll is accurate, then we as a country are just screwed at this point. If people would genuinely prefer this man who hates dissenter so much that he wishes them dead, if they prefer that over what we have in the Oval office right now, then yeah, I got no hope for this country at all.
