Conservatives Freak Out After Pro Trump Influencer Sentenced To 7 Months In Jail

A pro-Trump social media "influencer" has been sentenced to 7 months in jail after being found guilty earlier this year of running an election interference scheme. The influencer, Doug Mackey, had sent out memes telling African Americans that they can vote by text message, and the number he sent out to tens of thousands of his followers received thousands of responses from people thinking they were voting in 2016. As expected, the Right immediately came to his defense, and even Donald Trump, Jr. spoke out against the sentence, drawing even more attention to the scheme. This week, a pro-Trump social media, uh, influencer, I guess is what the press is calling him by the name of Douglas Mackey, was sentenced to seven months in jail for sending out posts online that provided misinformation about how people vote or how people could vote in 2016. Now, he was actually convicted of this all the way back in March, but it wasn't until this week where they finally had the sentencing hearing and he got seven months in jail. Now, specifically, according to the, uh, you know, court records here on November 1st, 2016, Mackey allegedly tweeted an image that featured an African American woman standing in front of an African Americans for Hillary sign. Um, the image included the following text, avoid the line, vote from home, text Hillary to 5 9 9 2 5, vote for Hillary and be a part of history. 4,900 people texted that line, apparently under the mistaken impression that they were actually voting in the 2016 election.

So he puts out this, you know, I guess you could call it a meme, but it says you can text to vote effectively. So he's got tens of thousands of followers on social media. People saw this and they thought, oh, that's great, right? This is so much easier. I don't have to go stand in line to vote. I will text to vote. That's obviously not true, right? You cannot text to vote. So seven months in jail for election interference, you know, something republicans claim to be against. And hey, if he broke the law, he's going to jail. Isn't that what republicans also want? Like no election interference, no being soft on criminals, right? So you would think Republicans would be celebrating this, but of course, no, no, they're not. In fact, even high profile Republicans like Donald Trump Jr, have come out defending this influencer with Junior saying that the Biden regime sentenced him to seven months in jail for posting memes about Hillary.

If anyone still thinks everything conservatives have been saying about the Marxists and their intentions as hyperbole, their idiots deserve to live under the DIMMs Comi system.
