Parkland Survivor Tricks Trump Supporters Who Were Looking To Buy Gold Sneakers

David Hogg, a survivor of the tragedy at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas high school, has purchased a web domain that appears to be a link for people to buy those atrocious golden Trump sneakers, but it actually redirects people to call their member of Congress to demand an end to gun violence in this country. This is a clever troll on the part of Hogg, and it once again raises the important issue of safety and security in a country that is ravaged by gun violence on a daily basis, statistically. Marjorie Stoneman Douglas survivor, David Hog this week announced that he had purchased a domain that Donald Trump himself probably should have purchased for his idiotic golden Sneakers Hog got on Twitter and said that he actually purchased shop trump sneakers.com. And here is what he said in his post, I just bought shop trump sneakers.com. I have redirected you to a page to call your member of Congress. The twist is the person who makes the call as a victim of gun violence, whose voice has been recreated with AI to call for gun safety. So what he did is he took shop trump sneakers.com, and if you go to shop trump speakers.com or sneakers.com, excuse me, it takes you to the shot line.org. The shot line.org will then use an AI generated voice of somebody that was killed from gun violence here in the United States to call your local lawmaker or your, your representative in the House or Senate and demand that they do something about gun violence.

Now, the reason this is so clever is because again, he purchased shop trump sneakers.com. The real website to buy these stupid little shoes is get trump sneakers.com. So yeah, you're going to have a lot of people typing in that wrong address that's then automatically going to be making a, a call to their member of Congress, which of course is brilliant. Like I love what David has done over the years, and, and you know, it, it's horrible what he and, and everyone else, not just through that t tragedy, but through the tragedies we have on a nearly daily basis at this point, statistically more than daily at this point, but he has turned it into activism as, as so many others have done. And now with this act of trolling, he is once again, putting it on the table, putting it in front of the faces of our members of Congress, who continually offer us nothing but their thoughts and their prayers.

I would've thought after you had little, little kids, six years old, seven year olds slaughtered right before Christmas, I would've thought that was the one, right? Like that should have been the event up in Newtown that just ended it. And they said, screw it. You know, I, I can't be this Second Amendment hardcore conservative. We gotta do something. Uh, but it didn't. If that one didn't do it, then I don't know that anything will. So we send our kids to school every day, not knowing if we're gonna see them at the end of the day, that is the horrifying reality

That we as Americans live in. It is something I think about every day of my life. I shouldn't have to live my life fearing that my kids are gonna get killed at school or killed if they go to the mall or killed if we go to a, a, a concert or a football game. But we do, and our lawmakers do nothing. So I applaud David here again for doing this because these people, these members of Congress, left, right center, I don't care all of them, they need to be reminded. They get their security. They also get plenty of death threats too. So they know what it's like to live in fear, but they're still refusing to do anything. And all we can continue to do is demand that they do better. And if they won't, we need to send them a message loud and clear.
