Trump has been bragging on truth social all week long about a massive trucker protest that is taking place in New York City shutting down streets in New York City. And it's all due to the fraud ruling against Donald Trump. That $354 million verdict against him, truckers banded together and shut down New York City for Donald Trump. And he has been bragging about it on truth social all week. There's just one little problem with it. None of that even happened. It was based on rumors that one trucker, for some reason decided to post on social media saying, I heard other truckers saying they may do this, but obviously nobody has any plans for it. It was just, you know, we could do it, but we didn't. And then of course, the trucker immediately deleted all the posts where he had suggested that it was likely to happen. So Donald Trump, long after the truckers had already said, yeah, we're not doing this, was boasting and bragging and heralding a thing that didn't happen, A thing that was never even technically on the books to happen. It was just a couple of weirdos saying, Hey, what if we did this? Wouldn't that be funny? And then they didn't even do it anyway. But Trump is out there spreading this false information that people are taking to the streets to protest that verdict against him, that the, the city of New York is gonna be shut down because people are so angry about what happened to him. That is what he is saying by posting these things on truth social. And none of it's true. None of it is based in reality. Never was.

The media has to do a better job of this. You know, I, I get the fact that debunking Donald Trump and countering all the lies he tells on any given day is a full-time job. Not even just a nine to five full-time job I'm talking about. You would have to work around the clock to keep up with all of Donald Trump's lies. But guess what, folks? The corporate media, they do have people that work around the clock. They are on the air 24 7. They have breaking news alerts, they have reporters and writers going all through the night. Debunking this stuff. When you have staff of 100 plus people is not difficult to do, but they don't do it. Now, this might be just a little bitty lie, right? But the implications of it are massive because you now have Trump supporters out there. You have moderate and independent voters out there that may follow Donald Trump, but they don't follow the, the news as much. And maybe they do follow the news, but either way, Trump told them the, uh, city of

New York's getting shut down because people were so. They believe that, and the media's not out there to correct it every time they get the chance to do it again. We don't want the press to be all Trump all the time. I don't like being all Trump all the time. But at the same time, these are dangerous lies that make people believe stuff that's not true. That can then impact how they vote this coming November. It's the bandwagon effect, right? Trump pretends a bandwagon exists. Oh, you wanna be part of this? Everybody's so mad what they're doing to me. I'm the victim. They're the bad guys. You should be on this bandwagon. And if the media's not out there to say, Hey, that bandwagon doesn't exist, then yeah, you're gonna have plenty of people that say, well, well, I'm gonna join them. I, I don't wanna be left out.
