3:52Now PlayingDuring his speech in Ohio this past weekend, Donald Trump got angry at the wind because it was making the teleprompters shake, which made it nearly impossible for him to read them. At that point, Trump said that they shouldn't pay whoever put the prompters up, as if they somehow controlled the wind. But the lack of teleprompter caused Trump to have to go off script, and that's when things went completely off the rails and showcased his declining cognitive abilities, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Donald Trump loves to attack his fellow politicians, whether it's on the left or right, as people who are unable to function without a teleprompter. He has repeatedly told us that he doesn't even use teleprompters. And that's why this past weekend at his rally in Ohio, he, uh, became irate when his teleprompters were unreadable. Here's what happened. Donald Trump was giving his rally outdoors, and Ohio happened to be experiencing a, a bit of a storm, not necessarily with rain, but they, in the area where Trump was, had 35 mile an hour wins. So his teleprompters off to the side were just kind of flapping in the wind and he couldn't read them. And at one point he became so irate that he actually said, don't pay these suckers, referring to the people who I guess put the teleprompters up because in Trump's mind, they're responsible for the wind.
Um, I, I don't even know how that works, but according to Trump, the people who install teleprompters are also the same people who control the wind across the United States. Totally a normal thought for a normal person to have. Right? But then realizing that he was getting angry and he doesn't wanna portray that to the public, he then joked, I think Joe Biden put them in. And of course everybody. Um, either way, e even if it had been Joe Biden or people on Joe Biden's team, they still don't control the wind. So, um, they wouldn't be responsible for your teleprompters flapping in the wind. But the funnier part is not just that Trump claims, I don't have to use teleprompters. He even said it actually at that point in his speech, he's like, isn't it great to have a president that doesn't have to use teleprompters as he's whining about not being able to read his teleprompters? And of course, that's the point where things went totally off the rails because he couldn't read. 'cause they're flapping in the wind. So he starts to ad-lib. And it was at this point that he said this, you know what's interesting, Joe Biden beat Barack Hussein Obama. Anybody ever heard of him? Every swing state Biden beat Obama, but in every other state he got killed.
I am not even sure what to make of that thought. I, is that a thought? Is that an actual idea? I mean, it's certainly not historically accurate. Um, is he somehow referring to the 2008 primaries where Biden flamed out before we actually got to the swing states? Um, so yeah. That, that's not a thing that happened. Or does he think that Biden had to run against Obama in the 2020 Democratic primary? None
Of it makes sense because Donald Trump has no idea what he's saying. And this is what happens when he goes off script. And that is why he was so angry when those teleprompters kept flapping in the wind to the point where he couldn't read them. He started making stuff up, because that's all he can do. If he can't read it off the screen in front of him, he's just gonna go to his make believe world and pull random bull crap out of there and feed it to the crowd. And as per usual, they ate it up because God forbid they have any critical thinking skills whatsoever.
