Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Government Is Useless But Forgets That SHE Is Part Of That

During an appearance on Tucker Carlon's show this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene urged all Americans to vote out every single elected official in this country because none of them are doing anything to help voters. That may be true of certain members of Congress, but it is especially true of Greene herself. Greene hasn't sponsored a single piece of legislation that would improve a single person's life, and she claims that she doesn't have any power to change things, even as a sitting member of Congress. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains the absurdity of her statements.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is still furious that the government was not shut down, that they did work out these budget deals, and of course, that she still has to go to work starting again next week after her two week vacation. So she went whining to Tucker Carlson on his Twitter show this week where she actually told viewers that they need to vote out every, and I'm assuming that includes herself. Every elected official everywhere says the government doesn't work. The people now must shut it down, she said in this interview. So, uh, here is a clip of Marjorie Taylor Greene telling the public to vote out everybody, Democrat, Republican, doesn't matter. Vote 'em all out. Because as Marjorie Taylor Greene says, the government simply doesn't work anymore. Here she is.

If they literally hold our government accountable and stand up and say enough of this, and I think they should throw out every single elected official. I'm not kidding. Every one of us should be thrown out. This government is a failure to the American people, and I'm angry about it, Tucker, because I'm a mom. My adult children and that generation and your kids and our grandchildren at the current current rate right now, they'll never be able to afford a home. They have no, uh, strong financial future, and they are going to be, uh, living and raising their own children in a country whose government has screwed all of us over. And, and that is the flat out, honest truth, tucker. And so, yeah, the American people could stop it if they really want to. I

Hope that lion roars. Now, a lot of what Marjorie Taylor Greed said right there is just garbage. Okay? Um, but she actually did hit on a couple things that do make a lot of sense. For example, vote everybody out because the government doesn't work for the average voter. I, I can't disagree with her on that. I, I do disagree a little on voting everybody out because there are some good folks in the house and some good folks in the Senate. Uh, I would like to see those people stay because we do have people that, contrary to what Marjorie says, are actually working for the American public. But here's the thing that Marjorie, I, I somehow forgot, right? She says she's powerless. She can't do this. The public has to do it, and that is bull crap.

Marjorie Taylor Greene may not be able to fix all the problems that she's ranting about right there. But let's look at one specifically, right? The specific thing she mentioned is that her kids, Tucker Carlson's kids, my kids never gonna be able to afford to buy a house in this country. 'cause housing prices are outta control. And they are. That's not a lie. Why are housing prices outta control, though, Marge? But more importantly, show me any legislation that you have worked on to help people buy homes because you're ranting and raving about a problem, claiming you are powerless to do anything about it. But that's a lie, Marge. You could be working on legislation that says, Hey, you cannot have these big, massive Wall Street banks stepping in and purchasing private homes. You could make it illegal. There you go. Where's your legislation? Oh, oh, you haven't done it?
