Trump Is Starting To Freak Out About RFK Jr. Taking Away His Supporters

Donald Trump has found himself in the same predicament that Hillary Clinton was in during the 2016 election. In that election, the Clinton campaign hyped up Trump as their desired challenger, only for it to backfire on them. In 2024, Trump has been hyping Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and with polls now showing that Kennedy could be eating away at Trump's support, he's starting to panic and doing everything he can to convince Democrats to support Kennedy. So this past week, last week, actually, Donald Trump went on this really bizarre rant in a video that he had posted to Truth Social, where he attacked and also somehow supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr's independent bid for the presidency. Now, before I read you what Trump said, I wanna start by saying this. I think at this point Donald Trump is of course freaking out about the prospect of Bobby taking votes away from him instead of taking votes away from Biden and you'll understand that more after I read what he said. But what Trump has right now is a Hillary Clinton problem. It's not a Bobby Kennedy Jr problem, it's a Hillary Clinton problem. And here's what I mean by that. In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton's allies went out there and they hyped up Donald Trump as the potential Republican nominee because they believed that with Trump in the race, Hillary was a shoo-in.

No way she's gonna lose to this guy, right? Okay, well, I mean she did win the popular vote, let's be fair about that. But ultimately, the electoral college decides not us. So Trump wins the election egg on their face, right? Same thing happened with Bobby Kennedy Jr. He starts getting in with all of Trump's allies like Roger Stone, right? They hype him up a lot. Fox News has hyped him up a lot. He's using all of these right wing talking points going as far as to recently suggest that maybe there's some political bias in the prosecution of the Capitol rioters. Like, that is a right wing talking point and Bobby used that recently. So he is appealing to the Trump voters. So suddenly Trump realizes that and he's like, oh God, now we've got a problem. So here is what Trump said in his very weird video. RFK Jr is, as you know, the most radical left candidate in the race. He is more so than the Green Party. He's more so than even crooked Joe Biden. But he's got some nice things about him.

I happen to like him. Unfortunately, he is about the green new scam because he believes in that and a lot of people don't. They want to see our country become rich and wealthy and strong and powerful and lots of other things, and not waste money doing something that nobody wants and everybody knows doesn't work. I mean, that is absolutely, by the way, just false, false, false, false, false. I guess that would mean that RFK going to be taken away votes from crooked Joe Biden, and he should, because he is actually better than Biden. He's much better than Biden. If I were a Democrat, I'd vote for RFK Jr every single time over Biden because he's frankly more in line with Democrats. And then he goes on, talks about Bobby's running mate, like, oh, she's got a rich husband, but he's like, if I were a Democrat, I'd vote for him. That's actually panic folks. And yeah, right now polls do show that Bobby's pulling a little bit more of the Democratic side than he is from the right. Previous polls and surveys have actually suggested he will end up pulling more votes away from Trump than from Biden.

And of course with the, you know, Kennedy family endorsing Biden, the name thing is, I don't know how much that's gonna help at this point when the rest of the people with the same name are endorsing the sitting president. And as I mentioned, Bobby's using a lot of right wing talking points that do not appeal to people on the left. So because of the way he's using those talking points.
