3:27Now PlayingDonald Trump's appearance at the Libertarian convention this past weekend could not have gone worse for him, with the crowd consistently booing him throughout his 34-minute speech. On top of the boos, Trump also got less than 1% of the vote to become the Party's nominee, showing how little the crowd liked him. In spite of all of this, Trump still claims that he will end up with a majority of the Libertarian votes in November, a reality-defying statement. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this claim.

In spite of his horrific performance at this past Saturday's Libertarian convention during which Donald Trump, by the way, spoke for 34 minutes being booed by the crowd almost the entire time. And then after he finished speaking, they did their vote on who their nominee was gonna be and on the first round of ballots, Donald Trump got less than 1%. Less than 1%. But in spite of that, Donald Trump thinks he did pretty darn good, even though it's obviously still getting to him, leading Donald Trump to get on Truth Social and post this reality defying post. The reason I didn't file paperwork for the Libertarian nomination, which I would've absolutely gotten if I wanted it, as everyone could tell by the enthusiasm of the crowd, was the fact that as the Republican nominee, I'm not allowed to have the nomination of another party. Regardless, I believe I will get a majority of the libertarian votes.
Junior Kennedy is a radical left Democrat who's destroying everything he's touched, especially in New York and New England, and in particular as it relates to the cost and practicality of energy. He's not a Libertarian. Only a fool would vote for him. Um, just actually as a point of order there about Bobby Kennedy, Jr., he's never held an elected office bud. He has never actually enacted any policies because he's never been in a position to enact any policy. So you're like, he's destroyed these areas. He wasn't an elected official. Like, that never happened. But let's get back to the point here, right? He is telling us that he totally would win the Libertarian nomination after being booed for 30 minutes and getting less than 1% of their vote. And he still has the audacity to try to rewrite history. You know, we have seen Republicans, of course, over years and years and years, right, they always try to do this revisionism of history.
But usually it's, hey, let's tell everybody that the slaves were actually happy to have jobs and everything was great for them. So they go back a couple hundred years sometimes to rewrite history from long and long ago. Trump did it 24 hours later. As these clips of him getting booed we're going viral, he's out there like, no, they loved me. Did you not see the enthusiasm? Oh, they were enthusiastic, all right, enthusiastic about their hatred of you. It wasn't just the boos either. They were yelling at him that he is a liar. They were calling him a grifter, a huckster. Every name in the book that I have used to describe Donald Trump is what the Libertarians were calling him. There was no enthusiasm for him as a candidate. There was enthusiasm to tell him what a horrible piece of crap he is. So don't let this man try to rewrite our history from this past weekend because everything went very badly for him, and it could not have been more humiliating for him.
