Well, folks, we finally have the white smoke. Donald Trump told NBC news over this past weekend that he has already decided who his running mate this year is gonna be. And that person is not being told that they are his running mate, nor is anyone else being told who that is. According to Donald Trump, here's what Trump told NBC news. They asked him like, have you settled on a vice presidential choice? And he said, in my mind, yeah. So they asked him like, oh, okay, well, have you told the person? And he said, no, nobody knows, as literally his exact quote, no, nobody knows. But up here, up in his nain, Donald Trump absolutely has no doubt whatsoever who his running mate is going to be this year. We just have to wait and see because Donald Trump wants to do a grand announcement. You know, whether it's gonna be on truth, social, probably not, because he actually wants people to see it.

He may do it at a rally, he may do it in a press conference, who knows? But it's gonna be big, it's gonna be bold, and it's going to come at a time when Donald Trump desperately needs a campaign boost, which could be as soon as this coming Friday, the day after he has his debate with President Biden. Because if Donald Trump performs poorly during that debate, all of the news the next day on Friday will be about how bad Trump was. Biden gets a big boost in the polls. So what better way to blunt that Biden debate boost than by sucking up all the spotlight, by announcing your running mate? Politically speaking, that would be the smartest thing to do. Or you do it, you know, after you get your sentencing, but I don't know that that's really gonna help you at that point. It's just gonna make that person look like they're running with somebody who could be going to jail.

So Friday would make the most sense if Donald Trump underperforms at the debate and Biden over performs. If that doesn't happen, if Trump wins the debate, he can push it off longer, perhaps around time of the, uh, sentencing. But make no mistake, all of the people on his shortlist, whether it's Doug Bergham, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, uh, Byron Donalds, Elise, St. JD Vance, these are all horrible people. And I don't think there's anyone among that bunch, maybe except for Bergham, that is going to give Donald Trump the bounce in the polls that he thinks he's going to get. Most of these people would actually hurt Trump in the polls. Bergham, even though he is just as bad as the others, he has not been vetted by the media as much. So there's not as much known about him. I've dug into his history. Uh, he is an anti-abortion extremist, you know, all of the horrible things that Republicans, you know, seem to embrace these days.

Bergham is one of them, but he's also a billionaire, right? So that brings a lot of money to the campaign. So Bergham is the most logical choice. Trump probably would get a bump with him until the media says, oh, wait a minute, we're gonna do our homework for once. Look at how bad this guy is. So that's what we know so far, right? Trump knows who his running mate's gonna be, but he sure as hell isn't gonna tell anyone, including the person that he has picked in his possibly dementia riddled brain. I.
