A Florida man by the name of Jason Alday was recently arrested according to reports for threats that he made against President Biden. Now, this information was gathered by Seamus Hughes, a senior researcher at the National Counter-Terrorism Innovation Technology and Education Center. They monitor some of the political violence and dangers that end up in the courts. And recently he uncovered here in Florida the arrest of Mr. Jason Alday. And after going through some of Mr. Al day's posts on social media, here is what they found Mr. Alday to have said. First of all, his account on Twitter said that he was a follower of Christ, a follower of Christ who posted this all kill Joe Biden. Today he posted on July 11th, of course, was the day of the shooting at the Trump rally. So this follower of Christ, according to his own bio, says, I'll kill Joe Biden. Today on June 30th, he posted the comment that says, quote sources, Joe Biden's health is declining rapidly, not doing too good at all. Should I finish him off? On the afternoon of July 1st, 2024, he posted, quote, the Secret Service, sent a special agent inward to my house with Gadsden County officers, all still slit Joe Biden's throat.
Now, unfortunately, based on the reporting that is available, I do not know at what point this man was arrested. I don't even know for sure, even though, you know, uh, Seamus Hughes does monitor the court system. I don't even know that he was officially arrested. Actually. Uh, he says he got a visit from the Secret Service and Gadsden County officers, but he didn't say he had been arrested. So is this man still at large? Has he been taken into custody? I mean, that's just three direct death threats that I read you, one of which happened in the last week.
So where is this individual? Is he in custody or is he not? Did the Secret Service just knock on his door and say, you, you better not do that again? Or are they actually going to take it seriously? I don't know, and I wish I had an answer to that. But what I do know based on reports that have come out this week is that the threats of violence coming from the right following the shooting at the Trump rally last week have grown exponentially. They are directly calling for violence. They're calling for civil war, they're calling for murders in the streets. They're calling for the public hangings of individuals on the left
While the left is over here saying, we need unity. And the right says, I'm gonna f-ing kill you. Right? That's what we're dealing with. You can't call for unity with people that are literally saying, I will slit your throat. Okay? Yes, the political rhetoric needs to be cooled down. I'm not disagreeing with that at all. We do need unity, but what I'm saying is that these people clearly don't want it. What they want is us dead. And it's hard to sit down and find common ground with someone who is only thinking about how they're going to murder you when they get the first opportunity to do so.
