He's the superstar there. And one of the Republicans who went there told an outlet like, yeah, this, this is gonna be bad. So here's what happened. Reuters described this person as a senior Republican from a southern state who said they worried Trump would be a lawless president, who stuffed government bureaucracies with yes men and would go after his political enemies.

That effort will be horrendous. This Republican said, I mean, I, I agree, I, I I have no notes on that. That is a correct statement. If Donald Trump were to get a second term, go in there, fire all of the regular work a day, civil servants, and replace them with his spineless, yes men and yes women, that would be horrible for the United States. If Trump spends just four years enacting political retribution instead of legislating and running the country, that would be a disaster for us. And this Republican who was at Trump's nominating convention was like, yeah, I, this is gonna be bad for the country. Former Arkansas governor, a Asa Hutchinson, went on record to similarly express concerns about Trump using the Department of Justice to exact revenge on his foes. Hutchinson said, quote, clearly a President Trump would have a close hand at directing the activities of the Justice Department.

Now, Hutchinson has made it clear, still gonna vote for Trump. I'm sure that, uh, Southern Republican official, whether it's a lawmaker or just a high ranking Republican, they're gonna vote for Trump, just like Attorney General William Barr, who says that Donald Trump is dangerous. Donald Trump can't be trusted. Donald Trump's a bit of a nut job, but I'll still vote for him. So the point is, none of these concerns or fears that these Republicans have even matter because they're still gonna vote for it anyway. They know that these are things he is going to do. They don't want him to do it, but they're still gonna give him the power to do it, because that's what these people do. They see the danger ahead. They know it's gonna be a disaster for the country and for themselves, and then they run headfirst into that danger because everybody else

Is running to it too. I guess I gotta do this. I guess I have to go put myself in danger to protect this egotistical man. That's what these people are doing. So I don't care if they come out there and express, oh, we're scared about what could happen, then don't vote for it. It's that simple. But y'all are out there expressing your concerns, saying how horrible it would be, and you're gonna turn around and vote for him anyway.
