4:44Now PlayingApparently not everyone is enjoying the DNC this week. A pro-Trump analyst for CNN named David Urban is very upset with what he’s seen at the convention. Or, to put it even better, he’s upset about what he’s NOT seeing at the convention. Urban whined this week that there aren’t enough “white people” at the convention and then claimed that the DNC really isn’t doing enough to reach people like him. That’s what having a big tent is all about, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Apparently not everybody is actually enjoying what they are seeing coming from the DNC this week. And one pro-Trump Republican analyst on CNN by the name of David Urban, believes that things at the DNC are just a little bit too diverse and that they're not doing enough to pander to pale white men across the country. Here is what Mr. Urban had to say about the multi-ethnic DNC that apparently is getting under his skin. This was a very base, uh, one that Democrats get better, get their act together because it was terribly orchestrated and put together. Took too long. Joe Biden went way in the night on Monday. I know this gets consumed differently. Nobody, not, most Americans aren't staying up to watch a second, uh, and, and snips and clips, but, but it, it was really just poorly produced. And I, you know, I, I think it miss was a missed opportunity in a lot of places because Sweet Baby James got bumped from the ticket last night, right?
You had James Taylor there practicing. Now, before I continue, let me point out the fact that the DNC ratings, uh, for the Monday night, 21% higher than the RNC ratings, and they only lost 2% of their total viewership by the time that Biden spoke at 11:25 PM Eastern. So contrary to what this idiot says, people did stay up for it. They, they lost sleep because they wanted to see what Biden said, because that is how enthusiastic they were about it. That is pretty remarkable. But anyway, Mr. Urban continues. So, you know, I, I think that there wasn't a lot of outreach to the Tim Walls part of the party. You know, if you're a white working class guy in Erie County, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, nothing spoke to you last night, they weren't going after those voters. The Tim Walls voters last night. It was geared towards, you know, specific, uh, very heavy on abortion, right? Lots of women of color and women. So you're right that my demographic was not the target last night. And so I thought that was kind of interesting.
Yes. Won't any politician in the country think about the plight of the poor white man for far too long in American politics, the white man has been ignored. We have not had the power. No. Those of us that look like me, oh God, we have just been oppressed and ignored for so long, right? Mr. Urban, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard anybody say about politics ever. And I've listened to Charlie Kirk speak. I have never, in 20 plus years of covering American politics seen a dumber statement delivered on live television. And that should be telling you something. They weren't catering to the white guys, okay? They weren't excluding them either, though. And by the way, if you think
That issues like women's reproductive health freedom only affects women, then you're also an idiot who's not smart enough to talk about the issue itself. Women's reproductive health freedom affects everyone because it affects their very lives. I literally, their ability to live or die in some cases. And that affects everyone around them, not just women, not just women of color, everyone. And if you're too stupid to understand that, then you are not smart enough to be able to go on national television to talk about American politics. White men make up a majority of politicians, not just in DC but across the country. White men are well taken care of. I mean, it's quite literally one of the only demographics that has literally never been oppressed, like ever. So, you know, maybe toned down with being mad about people of color being there because it just makes you seem like a bit of a bigot. There is plenty of stuff for white men in the Democratic, uh, agenda, trust me.
