Republicans across the country are starting to panic about how amazing the Democratic National Convention has been. And no, I'm not just saying that because I am a Democrat, I'm saying it because this convention has been absolutely breathtaking so far. And it's not just me saying that, by the way, Megan McCain has come out this week and said that the DNC looks incredibly fun compared to the RNC. Multiple different hosts on Fox News have actually praised not just the convention, but they actually praised Michelle Obama's speech. And then of course, Republican strategists throughout their talking about the fact that yeah, things are going really, really well for the Democrats and definitely not for the Republicans. One of those people is, uh, Republican strategist and CNN commentator Scott Jennings. And here is what Jennings, again, Republican strategist had to say about the first two days of the Democratic Convention.

Well, first of all, I think the Democrats should be congratulated for this night. It was well produced. The music, the Obamas, the whole thing worked for them tonight. I think the contrast that I see, and I don't, you know, know which is gonna win, but we're seeing the contrast of the politics of combat versus the politics of compassion. That's what the Obamas were trying to set up tonight. In my judgment, I should warn my fellow Republicans that we heard two of the greatest political communicators in the country tonight. Now we had Hu Mania. The Democrats have Obama mania. They ripped the roof off this place tonight. These Democrats are fired up. They're not playing okay. And then of course he went into like, but everything they said about Republicans, not true. He didn't explain what specifically was not true or why it was not true, but then he ended with this.

But bottom line tonight, this convention is working for them. Michelle Obama is, I mean, she's an incredible speaker and you cannot deny the power of what happened in the hall tonight talking of course, of Tuesday evening. And that's coming from a Republican strategist. And he may not have seemed worried per se, because he was heaping a lot of praise on them. You know, not sounding panic necessarily about it, but trust me, Republicans are panicking. The Democratic Convention is not only a massive hit just with Democrats, it's a hit in the ratings. It's beating the Republican convention by 21% in the ratings so far. People are excited. They wanna tune in, they wanna see what's happening. They want most importantly, to be a part of this movement. And I think that's the part that most of these Republicans, whether it's the strategists, the advisors, the analysts, the pollsters, or even the politicians, they're underestimating that because much like with Obama in 2008, Harris in 2024 is a movement now. It is a movement that

Popped up basically overnight. As soon as President Biden dropped out of the race. Obama's coalition took months and months and months to build. Harris has done that and more in three or four weeks. Folks, it is truly transformational. And the American public senses it. They can feel it and they can see it. And that's what is exciting, the voting base. And that of course, is what then terrifies the Republicans this week so far could not have gone better for the Democrats, which is the worst thing in the world for the Republicans.
