One of the hallmarks of Donald Trump's speeches. Um, and it goes all the way back to when he first entered politics. But one of the hallmarks of his speeches, his rallies, whatever his interviews is, that he goes off on tangents. And normally those tangents are related to something that he says. He'll say a word in a sentence that kind of puts him on a different path. He'll go off on that word, but then he'll come right back. But he's done that his entire political career. But over the last few months, it's gotten worse, worse to the point where it's undeniable that there is something wrong going on inside this man's head. And recently on August 30th, he, he did a, a rally in Potterville, Michigan where he didn't just go on a tangent, but that tangent sent him down another tangent, and then that other tangent sent him on yet another tangent to the point where he became completely, absolutely just incomprehensible.

I don't care. They say, you think you'd do it again? And that's the least of it. Nobody, they always say, I don't know if you know, Lincoln was horribly treated, uh, Jefferson was pretty horribly. Andrew Jackson, they say, was the worst of all that. He was treated worse than any other president. I said, do that study again, because I think there's nobody close to Trump. I even got shot. And who the hell knows where that came from, right? San Francisco, I got shot. He made it from this point to this point and went every flipping place in between. If he were to go in and actually speak to a psychiatrist, somebody who is capable of making these medical determinations and diagnoses, they, he would leave there with a identified illness. I firmly believe that. But Han Ali, the, the writer who was talking about this, goes on, and I'm gonna read this 'cause this is brilliant. This is impossible to follow Trump's asides stack atop each other with such density that it's dizzying for even professional political observers to discern what he's trying to get at. Why is a presidential candidate leapfrogging from talking about Harris's policy record to the bath he took on a property he owns to where he ranks on the list of horribly treated presidents, his asides themselves are often unintelligible. What is this alleged anecdote about his San Francisco property meant to convey? What does he even mean about how horribly presidents were treated to cap it all off?
