Donald Trump is suffering tremendously right now with women voters across the United States, including in deep red states. He is losing among women on the issue of the economy, the issue of inflation, you know, kitchen table issues. We're already doing pretty bad with women, so let's just go all in and let them know that we're gonna gut healthcare for women in this country. Typically, lower income women, by the way, who otherwise would not have access to healthcare at all. And JD Vance said this on the question of defunding Planned Parenthood. Look, I mean, our view is we don't think that taxpayers should fund late term abortions. That has been a consistent view of the Trump campaign the first time around. Planned Parenthood is not performing late term abortions. Lemme read you the stats here. 93.5% of abortions are carried out either at or before 13 weeks. 93.5%, less than 6% are performed between 13 and 20 weeks with less than 1%, either at or after 21 weeks. And usually that's an extreme case because someone is going to die. And for the record, $0 of Planned Parenthood's federal funding goes to fund abortion services. In fact, 97% of what Planned Parenthood does is not abortions. And the part that is that small 3% is funded by individual donations. They don't use federal taxpayers for that. So JD Vance is not only lying about what Planned Parenthood does, but he's also threatening to cut off their federal funding, which amounts to 40% of their yearly budget based on his own lies. This is what the Republican administration, doesn't matter if it's Trump next year or somebody else, four years after that, this is what they will do. This is what they will do. Millions of women across the country will have no access to healthcare. And I mean, literally none. 'cause they can't afford the private insurance. They can't afford to pay out of pocket to go to a regular doctor. They have to rely on Planned Parenthood. That's why it is such a vital organization here in the United States.
