I actually wanna start, uh, uh, today's segments by just apologizing real quick for the weird different look of things. I am actually on location this week. Sarah Huckabee Sanders late last month, so just, you know, two weeks ago really in a rally with Donald Trump in Flint, Michigan said that her children keep her humble, but vice President Kamala Harris doesn't have anything to keep her humble, which of course was an attack on Harris for not having biological children, even though Harris does in fact have two stepchildren. So Huckabee Sanders was not just insulting Vice President Harris, she was insulting everyone who is a stepparent or was raised by a stepparent or anyone who has what Huckabee Sanders would not consider to be a traditional family.

Well, here we are two weeks later, and the fallout from those comments continues to the point where Harris, during a recent podcast appearance was asked to respond to those comments where she said, family comes in many forms. And I think that increasingly all of us understand that this is not the 1950s anymore. Families come in all shapes or forms, and they are family nonetheless. So due to Harris's response to this, Huckabee Sanders had to come out in another interview, uh, to Politico over this weekend where Huckabee Sanders said, uh, uh, you know, she would never criticize a woman for not having children. She was just trying to point out that Harris doesn't believe our leaders should be humble. No, but that's not what you said. Okay, you can try to dress it up all you want, but that's not what you said. You implied that because she didn't have children, she had nothing keeping her humble.

So in response to Huckabee Sanders, response to Harris's response, CNN on Monday decided to go after her. And former Fox News host, current CNN host, Chris Wallace, laid in to Huckabee Sanders for her disgusting comments. It was prompted by a question from CNN host Casey Hunt, who asked Wallace quote, how do you think Kamala Harris handled this? Because the reality is there are so many American voters who don't have families that look like, you know, mom, dad married for 30 years. And Chris Wallace responded, quote, well, you know, you used an expression in your lead in modern family, which of course was the name of a very, very popular sitcom, and there were all kinds of families and a same sex couple that had children and other couples.
