Well, folks, as Donald Trump calls it, today is liberation day, which really just means screw over American consumers day because this is the day that the big tariffs go into place. But last week, he also put more tariffs in place, a 25% tariff on all automobiles and automobile parts coming into the United States, which of course, Canada, one of the top, uh, exporter to the US of automobiles and automobile parts means that's gonna hurt. All he's doing, talking about Trump is hurting the American people, he thinks the cost is going to go down for automobiles in the us. It's the total opposite. The costs are going to go skyrocketing. He keeps calling out countries. He, he's really pointing us out for the most part, Ontario, 50% of the parts within the vehicles are American. They were showing me drawings today of all the different parts from all over the world. By the way that goes in one vehicle. I can tell you, we just aren't going to roll over. We're going to retaliate and he's going to feel the pain from the American people. We have two options here. We either roll over as a country and he runs over us, uh, uh, 15 times and gets what he wants. Or we feel a little bit of pain and we fight like we've never fought before. That 65 billion of tariffs that we have on the table that we can launch towards the us We have to run through every tariff and minimize the pain for Canadians, maximize the pain for Americans. And I feel terrible for the Americans, but it's one person. It's President Trump that's creating this chaos.
