Fox News really is tripping over themselves in their rush to defend Donald Trump's tanking of the entire US economy. Most specifically at this moment. Of course, though, the stock market, according to an analysis that I saw on Sunday, the stock market since Donald Trump's so-called Liberation Day last week when he put the tariffs in place on those uninhabited islands. Um, and plenty of habited ones too, by the way, but $6 trillion, 6 trillion is the estimate as of yesterday on how much money the stock market has lost, how much value it has lost. And I'm sure if you're like me and you have a 401k, you've been watching in horror as thousands of dollars from your retirement fund, maybe more have been erased. I have had people messaging me, I have seen the post on social media. Everybody's getting hurt right now because of what Donald Trump did, but don't tell that to Fox News because they're telling us, don't worry about your 401k, but also worry about your 401k, which is a bit of a weird message.

But that is the message that, uh, millionaire Janine Pirro gave to the audience last week that basically left everybody. Kind of stunned here is what Janine Pirro said on an episode of the five late last week when President Trump first started going after Canada and Mexico. Everybody was like, oh my gosh, there are neighbors. There're wonderful people. Why are we doing this? We love the Canadians. Well, the truth is China is making cars in Mexico and Canada and not paying a tariff on them and selling them in the United States. Well, they're putting a tariff on our cars. Look, you are going to tariff my goods, but I'm going to lay down and let you roll all over me and sell your stuff with virtually no tar, virtually no tariff audit, by the way. Enough. And this is what Donald Trump ran on, and he's delivering. And you know what?

I don't really care about my 401k today. You know why? Not that I can afford it. Not that it isn't important, not that I'm not at a point in my life where I should be worried about my 401k because I am, but this is what I believe. I believe in this man. Why? What has Donald Trump ever done to make you believe in him, right? I mean, that is an honest, valid question that these people need to answer. Instead of just saying like, I believe in him. I trust him. Why he had, he led us into a recession in his first term because of tariffs that he put in place and the tax cuts, which they're working on right now, they're doing the same thing they did. That led us into a recession last time. Of course, that recession was a hastened by COVID. Sure, but it was coming. Nevertheless, COVID just made it happen faster. Now, here's the other part of it. She's like, I'm not worried about my 401k. And then she says, uh, uh, I

Should be worried about my 401k because I am so in the same like matter of three sentences. You're like, I'm not worried about it. And then you're like, I'm worried about it. Janine Pirro has a net worth of $14 million. And I don't know how much of that is wrapped up in the stock market. So maybe all of it is, maybe she'll be left with nothing. But I can also tell you, Janine, we do not care about your 401k. We don't, you know what we care about? We care about our 4 0 1 Ks. We care about the people. We care about 4 0 1 Ks, our coworkers, our family members, our friends, our neighbors. Those working class people are losing their ability to retire because of an action solely from Donald Trump, which the Republicans are letting him do.
