You know, aside from tariffs, obviously, but attacking immigrants is what got Donald Trump onto the national stage way back in the day when he first ran for office. And he has not relented Now, unfortunately, for the Trump administration, they haven't been able to round up as many people as they thought they would. And the deportations are not going as planned. They're not having as many arrests as they wanted. The administration has already allocated thousands of more government law enforcement officials to rounding up immigrants to the point where they're actually not doing their regular jobs of going after normal American born criminals. So those people are getting off the hook. But meanwhile, we got 5,000 more agents from DHS, the FBI, the DOJ, that are now supposed to be rounding up immigrants. And by God, Stephen Miller wants to know what the hell arrest more people. While the media has mostly focused, of course, on the ramped up, uh, immigrant roundup, uh, uh, uh, of the administration, you know, allocation of more resources and whatnot, I wanna present a different thing. It doesn't matter how many more people the federal government moves over into the immigration and enforcement arena. You know, they, they've already moved 5,000. They may be moving more, but you could move 50,000. You could move a hundred thousand people over and your numbers aren't gonna change for a very specific reason. And it's a reason that destroys years of a Republican talking point. And it's this, you can put an extra 5,000, 10,000, 50,000 people out there to go round up immigrants, but at the end of the day, these people will just be chasing ghosts. Now you've got the people, you've got National Guard out there protecting the border, and the numbers haven't changed. Hmm. You've got thousands more agents out there. You've got local law enforcement in some areas of the country helping you, and yet the arrest numbers aren't going up. It's almost as if this 20, 40 million people don't actually exist because they're looking for 'em. They just can't find them, and they can't find them because this administration is out there chasing ghosts.
