On Thursday morning, a writer and historian James Fallows got on Blue Sky and he mentioned the fact that a couple years ago when President Biden accidentally said the President of Egypt, when talking about the President of Mexico, that was front page news for three days, for multiple days. We heard that Biden was suffering from cognitive decline. He mixed up Egypt and Mexico. What a buffoon. This guy's gotta go. Every major national outlet was covering the story. And then he contrasted it with this. Yesterday, Wednesday, Donald Trump went out there and said this, talking about Jerome Powell, chairman of the Federal Reserve. He's a terrible Fed chair. I was surprised he was appointed. I was surprised, frankly, that Biden put him in and extended him.

Now, for those who've been following along in American politics, Joe Biden did not appoint Jerome Powell to be the chairman of the Federal Reserve. Donald Trump did that. During the first year of his first term. In October of 2017, Trump appointed the guy. Now he's mad at him 'cause he won't lower interest rates. So he says Biden appointed him. So Biden confused, Egypt and Mexico. Trump confused who appointed the guy that he hates, even though it was him. And James Fallow pointed out in the second half of his post on Blue Sky, a not a single major news outlet in the United States was covering this story. Thursday morning. This morning. Today, if you went looking for this story on C-N-N-N-B-C News, C-B-S-A-B-C, Fox, any of them, it wasn't there yet. Every one of those outlets for days, most of them covered the Biden Gaff about Egypt and Mexico.

We have a president of the United States right now that honest to God at this point, if you don't think he's suffering from dementia, then you may also be suffering from a severe cognitive disorder. This man doesn't know anything. He can't remember anything. And there's a chance that part of this is because of his own narcissism. He doesn't wanna admit that he picked people or that things happened under his watch that actually happened. You know? Or or say that things happened under Biden's watch that happened under his watch. A great example of that, by the way, this week, Republicans came out and talked about the George Floyd protest from the summer of 2020, and they blame those on Biden. So a lot of it does have to do with just shifting the blame, not necessarily mental decline or serious neurological conditions.

However, with Donald Trump, I think most of it is due to dementia. And by the way, Lawrence O'Donnell, M-S-N-B-C had this to say about Trump's comment, dementia. And yes, let's once again, imagine the reaction, not just from Fox, but the entire DC media if Biden said this, and he's right. And we have to look at things through that lens, right? Because we went through four years of it with Biden. Anytime the man sneezed, they were like, oh dude, clearly guy's gone death's doorstep. We gotta do something. Get him out of office. And not just conservative media either folks, nobody in the national corporate media is talking about the fact that Donald Trump's mental decline is clearly worse and accelerating at a rate that we did not see under Biden. And I'm not trying to defend Biden. I'm not saying he didn't have cognitive decline. He clearly did.
