As Donald Trump’s Vice President, JD Vance is the heir apparent to the MAGA movement. Unfortunately, that movement isn’t super pleased with Trump at the moment over his handling of the Epstein scandal, and this has caused Vance to completely disappear. The Vice President has been absent from the conversation, and he hasn’t even shown up to several other events where Trump assembled the entire cabinet. The man is laying low, and for good reason, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Where the hell is Vice President JD Vance. That's a question by the way that most people can't seem to answer. The guy seems to have just become missing in action and nobody knows where the hell he is. He is effectively in hiding. It would seem. The last time we heard anything from JD Vance was, uh, what, two weeks ago when it was revealed that he flew to Montana to secretly meet with Rupert Murdoch before the Wall Street Journal published the bombshell story about Trump. Ever since then, no Vance, and of course, according to Politicos, Dashia Burns Vance has been eerily silent about the entire Epstein scandal since it rebroke. We've now been dealing with this for roughly a month, and about the only thing JD Vance has said is that the Wall Street Journal reporting was ridiculous and stupid. But other than that, the Vice President of the United States, the apparent to the MAGA movement is just MIA, here is what Dashia Burns said on MSNBC's morning Joe this week.
He, speaking of JD Vance is trying to balance all of these different factors. Look, the Epstein files has been probably the most complicated piece of this for him, because he needs to keep the MAGA base that's rebelling right now on his side, but he can't be seen to be straying and not towing the line for President Trump. He has a lot more at stake here than Trump does because he's not seeking to be, you know, Trump is not seeking to be reelected, but Vance is looking ahead at his political future. He's calculating his decisions based on 2028. And when you talk to people in his world, he tacitly does acknowledge that it is the big elephant in the room. And that's why it's so complicated for him to navigate Iran and to navigate Epstein. But he's really stuck between a rock and a hard place because he can't be seen breaking from Trump.
But he's gotta keep that connection with the MAGA base. He can't break from them either or else his future is in trouble. So the answer of where the hell is JD Vance is, he's hiding. He's hiding from Trump, he's hiding from maga, he's hiding from everybody. So he doesn't have to say anything. So he doesn't destroy any potential future political bids. He's being a coward. In other words, he, he doesn't wanna have to say what he thinks. He doesn't want to have to say what he knows, so he's just not saying anything and staying hidden under whatever rock it is. He's crawled underneath, but I'm gonna take it a step further because it's not just that he's not saying things about the things that's happening, right? Uh, Donald Trump was in the Oval Office this week. Scott Cent, for some reason was there, even though this wasn't any kind of, you know, economic discussion. Uh, Howard Lutnick, Marco Rubio,
All these other cabinet members. Do you know who wasn't there? At least not that I saw. Maybe I missed it, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't there, JD Vance. So, JD Vance is not just staying quiet, he's literally staying out of the picture. He, he's not being as involved in this administration as I think a lot of folks thought he would be. And it goes even before the Epstein stuff too. JD Vance was just kind of the quiet never see him, guy. And I get it, a lot of vice presidents kind of are like that, but with Vance it is a little more suspicious because Vance needs to be seen. Vance still wants to have a long political career. He is a younger guy. He has plenty of time. I mean, hell, based on the ages of people in Congress right now, after this administration, JD Vance could probably serve another 40 years because these idiots never retire.
