This is a party that knows they can drum up their base with conspiracy theories about human trafficking and Democrats but when it comes time for them to actually do something about it, they say, oh no, we actually don't care.

It's always ironic that the people who say they're going to do something, like this, particularly with this brand of Republicanism, are the ones who are doing the thing itself, right. We see this time and time again.

Yeah. And to get rid of 15% of the staff at the human trafficking office within the State Department, that is horrific. And Marco Rubio is the one who officially got to make the decision, Secretary of State. He came out and said, listen, what we found is a lot of these departments here in the State Department, it's duplicative work. You know, oh, well they're doing kind of what these folks are doing. But that doesn't apply to this particular office. This particular office is the office that monitors and investigates human trafficking across the globe. They save lives, they get people out of this sexual slavery that they have been kidnapped into and Rubio is fine with lying to us about the rationale and doing it anyway. This is one of the sicker things we have seen from this administration in this first six months.

And again, I can't say it enough, I'm gonna say it on a lot of episodes, but this is also at a time where the president is involved with a human trafficking scandal with Jeffrey Epstein. And now this same president's administration is cutting 15% of the agency this specifically dedicated to eradicating this. Any other administration wouldn't survive just this.

Oh, I know. I mean, this is probably the worst optics regardless of the timing. This just happens to be so much worse timing. But this is coming from the same party who had a member of their party many years ago going to Comet Ping Pong in Washington, DC and shoot up the place because they thought it's where Democrats were going to get all those trafficked little children that they were having sex with. So this is a party that knows we can drum up our people with these conspiracy theories about human trafficking and Democrats. And then when it comes time for them to actually do something about human trafficking, they say, oh no, we actually don't care. It was really just a campaign thing to get people off. It's, again, sick is the nicest word I can use to describe them.
