Donald Trump openly suggested he could give himself a billion dollars in taxpayer money, treating the presidency like a personal settlement desk. The Constitution gives Congress control over spending, not the president, and no lawsuit or court ruling allows Trump to pay himself. Even rhetorically, framing public funds as personal property undermines the rule of law and public trust. America does not have kings, self negotiated settlements, or presidents who can turn the justice system into a personal ATM. This is about separation of powers, accountability, and whether the Constitution still means what it says. Ring of Fire's Jerrod Zisser explains.
