4:01Now PlayingDuring day one of the Derek Chauvin trial, jurors heard opening statements from the prosecution and the defense. During the prosecution's opening arguments, the video of Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd's neck as he begged for his life was shown to jurors. Three witnesses, including the 911 dispatcher who sent police to the scene, a cashier who recorded seven videos of the incident, and a martial arts-trained fighter, testified in court. BNC's Dray Clark is live in Minneapolis with a recap of day one's highlights. The argument of Chauvin's legal team is that Floyd died not because of Chauvin's knee on his neck but rather because of drugs in his system and underlying health conditions.
