On Capitol Hill, the fight continues to play out. BNC's Bofta Yimam joined "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss voting legislation. Tensions are rising between legislators of the same party. Senator James Clyburn of South Carolina said he's insulted because SenatorJoseph Manchin of West Virginia did not cosponsor the "For the People Act" that would expand voting rights and create national standards for elections. Manchin is the only Democratic Senator who did not cosponsor the voting reform package. In Texas, two legislators introduced bills to amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993. Republicans say it is about keeping elections secure, while Democrats call it voter suppression.
