The largest Black-owned bank in the United States is spreading the message with its annual "I Got Bank" financial literacy contest. Teri Williams, President of One United Bank and author of the children's book "I Got Bank," joined "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss the contest. "This is such an important contest," Williams said, saying that it grows bigger each year with more entries. She said people should understand the importance of saving money. "If you cash that check, you're more likely to spend it," she said. The bank will be awarding 10 $1,000 savings accounts to the winners of the contest.
