7:46Now PlayingThere has been a dramatic uptick in unruly behavior on planes. The FAA revealed that they receive up to 150 complaints in a normal year, but this year, there were more than 1,300. Paul Schmick, Vice President of Security Technology at Alliance Security, joined "Start Your Day" to discuss the rise in incidents. Schmick said there are multiple points to consider. He said a "tremendous uptick" in the number of flights available to travelers and mask mandates has also played a role. "There's no worse place to have tension than 35,000 feet in the air," Schmick said, citing that domestic travel is not immune to racial tensions.
