1:15:16Now PlayingAndrew Womble, the Pasquotank County District Attorney, held a press conference on Tuesday to release the findings from the investigation of the Andrew Brown Jr. shooting. Womble shows body camera footage from the shooting for the first time after attempts to get the video released were blocked by a judge. Brown's family and attorneys say he was killed "execution-style" based on a 20-second redacted version of a video shown to them earlier this month. Brown was shot and killed on April 21, 2021. Womble said the shooting was "justified," and the officers involved will not be tried.
