5:18Now PlayingIt's the end of a mission focused on protecting the Capitol Hill complex. More than 2,000 National Guard troops have been in place since the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. The complex will still be secured by Capitol Police but closed to the public.
This comes as Senate plans to take up a bill this week to create a bipartisan commission to investigate the fatal riot. BNC Washington D.C. Correspondent Bofta Yimam joins "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss lawmakers' plans.
Last week, GOP leaders spoke out against the commission, calling it a partisan effort while Democrats say it is about finding out what went wrong.
