Dr. Davidson says, “The virus mutate it just happens every time they get in host or they are in community they change a little bit.” Sometimes, the mutations are minor and don’t really amount to anything, but every once in a while, the mutation takes hold and it makes it easier to spread. The real danger is that it is more contagious. The segment analyzes the number of US citizens that have gotten the vaccine shot which is at 45%. President Biden hope to get 70% by the 4th of July. Dr. Davidson attributes this to media and social media sites that continue to perpetuate that this virus isn’t a big deal.
