Jane Doe number 5 told the jury that Kelly claimed that he purchased her from her family because they didn't believe she had any value and didn't mean anything to them. She testified she first met the R&B singer when she was 17 in 2015, but she lied and told him she was 18.
She accused him of physical abuse. The defense questioned why she never sent anyone pictures of her injuries from the beatings.
