"There are still certain parts of the city that still have not recovered from Katrina 16 years later," Griffin reveals. "I do definitely have confidence in our newer levees. We expanded almost $15 billion on that levee infrastructure."
The NOLA activist believes Hurricane Ida will test if the changes since Katrina are working.
Griffin also talks about why he continues to live in Louisiana, which he says as a community is resilient and powerful.
