Faith testified that R. Kelly exposed her to a sexually transmitted disease (STD). During the trial, Faith explained how she met R. Kelly and how their relationship started. She further explained the R&B singer’s demand for sex during trips and the protocols she had to follow. Faith’s father spoke with Martinez about how Faith is feeling the trauma she has to go through and reliving the moment she shared with Kelly on the witness stand. “As a dad concerning another man taking advantage of your daughter, you feel a funny kind of way, anger,” her father says. “And [you feel] upset at the defendant.” Kelly has denied all allegations and misconduct.
