3:02Now PlayingAlthough officials have declared that the war in Afghanistan is over, it is not over for thousands of Afghans that are still trying to leave the country.
Qiamuddin Safi, an Afghan American who evacuated from Kabul, is still fighting a battle. Safi is one of the thousands that are trying to fight to get their family out of Afghanistan. Safi’s brother and cousin are in the hospital after a suicide attack at the airport. His message to President Biden is to end the war by first honoring the U.S. commitment to those who risk their lives in the war effort and get them out of Afghanistan. “I need help, their life is at risk,” Safi said.
