In the trending legal stories, Oklahoma’s Pardon and Parole Board voted today to recommend commuting the sentence for death row inmate, Julius Jones.

The board voted 3-1 to recommend Jones' sentence be commuted to life in prison. Jones was convicted for the 1999 murder of businessman, Paul Howell.

Capitol Police have arrested an alleged white supremacist, 44-year-old Donald Craighead, and charged him with possession of prohibited weapons.

He was found patrolling the Democratic National Committee building in a pick-up truck painted with swastikas and other Nazi symbols. They found several knives in his truck including a machete.
