It is the city where officers shot and killed 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant earlier this year.
According to the Mapping Police Violence Project, the Columbus Police Department kills people at a higher rate than 78 of the 100 largest U.S. city police departments, and 83% of those killed are Black.
Attorney Sean Walton, who has represented the families of several people killed by Columbus police, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss what is happening in the city.
