as posted by the channelIn developing news out of Haiti, the Prime Minister has ordered the firing of the prosecutor who is seeking to file charges against him in connection with President Jovenel Moïse's assassination.
Authorities say a key suspect in the murder called Prime Minister Ariel Henry twice just hours after the crime. The prosecutor asked a judge to prevent Henry from leaving the country. It is also important to note that in the wake of the President's death, it is not clear if the Prime Minister actually has the authority to fire the prosecutor. Ritha Pierre, a member of the Haitian American Lawyer's Association, joins "Start Your Day" to discuss.
