September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month.

Sickle Cell Disease is a genetic condition that affects the red blood cells in your body. According to the National Institute for Children's Health Quality, about 1 in 13 African Americans carry the trait, and 3,000 children are born with the disease each year. Singer Jordin Sparks joins "Morning Hype" with host Michelle Fisher to discuss the condition and how it has personally impacted her family.
