The House Ways and Means Committee unveiled their tax proposal, which they say will raise more than $2 trillion in tax revenue. The proposal would raise the corporate tax rate to 26.5% from 21%, increase the top marginal individual income tax rate to 39.6% from 37% and raise the top capital gains tax rate to 25% from 20%.
