A judge has thrown out the third-degree murder conviction of Mohammad Noor.

Noor is the former Minneapolis police officer who's serving a 12.5-year sentence for the death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond. She called 9-1-1 to report a possible rape behind her home. When the cruiser arrived, she approached the car's window and was shot and killed by Noor, who said he was spooked. BNC chief legal correspondent Laura McNeal joins "Start Your Day" with hosts Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss.
