3:59Now Playing“Start Your Day” host and former ESPN sports anchor Mike Hill expressed that unvaccinated NBA players may need to rethink their stance after being endorsed by Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
Cruz, who is vaccinated, tweeted on Wednesday:
“I stand with Kyrie Irving. I stand with Andrew Wiggins. I stand with Bradley Beal. I stand with Jonathan Isaac,” along with the hashtag #YourBodyYourChoice.
"When people like Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz have your back, it’s time for you to turn around,” Hill said.
His co-host Sharon Reed agreed with his sentiment. She also brought up Cruz’s hypocrisy because last year he asked the FDA to get rid the morning after pill, which allows women to stop a pregnancy before it starts.
Hill and Reed want Irving and others to denounce Cruz’s statement.
