In the video, a voiceover says that the young child will, “have to pay for his snacks with good behavior and commissary until he is off punishment.” While some have dismissed it as a joke or even praised the mother, others have expressed serious concern over the video.
Dr. Stacey Patton, who is a journalist and author of the book, “Spare the Kids: Why Whupping Children Won’t Save Black America,” joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss this issue.
