8:36Now PlayingIn Sudan, the African Union has suspended the East African nation from all activities just two days after a military coup.
According to a statement released by the AU earlier today, Sudan's suspension will be in place until civilian rule is restored in the country. The AU added that it "strongly condemns the seizure of power," calling the takeover "unconstitutional."
It has prompted the World Bank to indefinitely halt aid to Sudan, while the U.S. has already suspended $700 million in aid to the country.
